Wire Rope Thimbles are an alternative to splicing and are used with wire rope clips to make loops in a wire rope. The wire rope should be the same diameter as the thimble and once the loop is created, the inside of the thimble will protect the wire cable from abrasion. These thimbles are made from stainless steel and for weather and corrosion resistance.
Do not use for overhead lifting and never exceed the Safe Working Load (SWL)
