C-Link connecting chain links are designed for applications where a simple elongation of chains are needed. C-Links are not designed for heavy loads but for application where elongation fitting is needed to extend an existing chain. mainly sold for the use of chain disk drive system, to connect one drive chain to another until the desired length has been achieved, best used for applications where 2 chains connected are always on tension and don't provide for slack so that the linkage cannot allow for the chains to de-link.
